The Cinema Paradiso design is inspired by the Oscar winning Italian drama film written and directed by Giuseppe Tornatore. The film stars Jacques Perrin, Philippe Noiret, Leopoldo Trieste, Marco Leonardi, Agnese Nano and Salvatore Cascio. Cinema Paradiso tells the story of a filmmaker recalling his childhood when falling in love with the pictures at the cinema of his home village and forming a deep friendship with the cinema's projectionist.
