Rest in peace Alex. You have been a constant for us for such a long time and we can’t believe you’re gone. We love you and will miss you! We all thought those episodes were from 1989 at the LATEST and we all felt the collective horror realizing they are from 2014! FOURTEEN! only 4 years ago guys. Anyway, we're a fan and are pleasantly surprised at how much more we know now than when we watched as kids. Does anyone else miss commercial breaks?

The Dating Game was an American TV game show that first aired on December 20, 1965, and was created and packaged by Chuck Barris. The network dropped the show on July 6, 1973, but it continued in syndication for another year as The New Dating Game and was revived three more times in '78, '86, and '96. Each episode started with a bachelorette that would question three bachelors, who were hidden from her view; at the end of the questioning period, she would choose one to accompany her on a date, with expenses paid by the show. Occasionally, the roles would be reversed with a man questioning three ladies; other times, celebrities would question three players for dates for themselves, co-workers or relatives.

The Price Is Right is an American television game show where contestants compete by guessing the prices of merchandise to win cash and prizes. A 1972 revival by Mark Goodson, and Bill Todman of their 1956–1965 show of the same name, the new version added many distinctive gameplay elements. Contestants are selected from the studio audience: the announcer calls their name, invoking them to "Come on down!", the show's famous catchphrase.

A gothic clock tower is the setting of this ghoulish rendition of the Major Arcana tarot card Wheel of Fortune. The three figures around the clock are the Egyptian god of evil Typhon descending, Egyptian god of the dead Anubis rising, and the Sphinx on top. Four winged creatures associated with the zodiac signs Aquarius, Scorpio, Leo, and Taurus are positioned around the clock. The four alchemical symbols of mercury, sulphur, water & salt are shown by the clock hands. The hands display the witching hour.

The Gong Show was an amateur talent contest game show broadcast on daytime TV from June 14, 1976, through July 21, 1978, and in first-run syndication from 1976 to 1980 and 1988 to 1989. The show was created and originally produced by Chuck Barris, who also served as host from 1977 to 1980 in syndication. Amateurs competed in a talent contest judged by a trio of celebrities. If the act is so bad that the judges can’t bear to watch any more of it, they have the power to stop the act by pounding a large gong hanging on the wall behind them. Barris kept the acts flowing, the jokes flying and the raucous party atmosphere floating.
